Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario workers ratify tentative agreement
April 1, 2011
OPSEU Local 565 is pleased to announce that the tentative
agreement regarding changes to the collective agreement with the AGCO has been
ratified by the Union.
More than 3/4 of the bargaining unit across Ontario cast a ballot on the
tentative agreement with a majority endorsing it, signaling broad engagement by
the membership.
Next steps are that AGCO Management will be recommending acceptance at a AGCO
Board meeting on April 6, 2011 after which they will seek an Order in Council
confirming the agreement.
