New members at Lee Manor welcomed

January 20, 2009

OPSEU President Warren (Smokey) Thomas and Region 2 Vice-President Jay Jackson welcomed the new members at Lee Manor Jan. 14. Employees at the Owen Sound home for the aged voted in December to oust their old employee association in favour of joining OPSEU. The 170 workers were formerly represented by the Christian Labour Association of Canada.
