OPSEU response to AMAPCEO statement
August 22, 2008 OPSEU, along with other trade unions and associations representing Ontario
government employees, was invited by the Ontario government to consultations about issues of mutual concern.
These consultations are ongoing. OPSEU is committed to discussing these issues with the
government and the other trade unions and associations.
“OPSEU remains prepared as always to vigorously defend the interests of its members,” said
Warren (Smokey) Thomas, president of OPSEU.
