"Hands off our sick time!"

December 3, 2008 Members of Local 737 (Thunder Bay Jail) and Local 708 (Thunder Bay Correctional Centre) sent a strong message to the employer at an information picket outside the jail Nov. 28: "Hands off our sick time! And keep your promise of rebuilding public services." Region 7 OPS mobilizer Ernie Brayshaw reports there was a great turnout and good media coverage. Region 7 Executive Board Members Sandra Snider and Brenda Clapp joined more than 35 members at the picket.
