It's All About YOU!

It is the first of its kind for our union and any union in the country. The project reflects OPSEU’s goal of being the union of choice for the workforce of the future - a union that values its members and staff because of their diverse backgrounds.

Encouraged by a 2008 Convention resolution, the census will provide an accurate picture of OPSEU’s membership and staff. President Warren (Smokey) Thomas is excited about this revolutionary initiative. “OPSEU needs to learn more about those we represent and those who work for us in order to serve members and staff even better, ” says Thomas.

With the census, thousands of OPSEU members and staff will have the opportunity to stand up, get counted and help chart OPSEU’s future.
