Why the public sector is
key to Ontario’s economic recovery
The current recession did not start in Ontario, but it
is hitting us hard. OPSEU believes the public sector is key to Ontario’s
economic recovery. We’ve put together a 5-point plan for recovery that
aims to guide the government in its strategy to battle the recession. On
the eve of the March 26 provincial Budget OPSEU has met with MPPs and
organized press conferences around the province to reinforce our message
that the public sector is key to Weathering the Storm.
