TORONTO: A tentative agreement with COTA Health was ratified by the Local membership today with 79 per cent acceptance. The agreement was reached after nine days of bargaining including two at conciliation.

The membership supported the bargaining team with a 98 per cent strike vote during negotiations.

The agreement includes improvements in the areas of wages, benefits, and vacation.

OPSEU Local 548 represents about 170 staff providing mental health services for both residential and independent living clients.
