Tentative agreement reached with Community Care Access Centres

November 25, 2011 OPSEU has reached a tentative agreement with participating Community Care Access Centres (CCACs) in its first Central Collective Agreement between the parties.

After 15 days of bargaining and with the assistance of Mediator Gerry Lee, the parties worked 18 hours straight to reach the tentative agreement at 3 a.m. on Friday morning.

OPSEU represents over 900 members between the four CCAC locations which include the Champlain CCAC, North East CCAC, Central East CCAC and the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant CCAC.

Ratification meetings are now being arranged. Details will be released at those meetings.
