Petition asks for assessment of Grey Bruce health board

OPSEU is requesting for the Minister of Health and Long Term Care to launch an official assessment of the Grey Bruce Board of Health and the Grey Bruce Public Health Unit.

The Health Unit cannot provide adequate mandated programs and services due to recent cuts of front line staff and ongoing mismanagement by the Board of Health and the Administration.

The objective is to assess the quality of the management and administration of the Board of Health and GBHU; to ascertain whether they are providing health programs and services in accordance with the Health Protection and Promotion Act.
