childhood educators at Maisons de la famille have ratified a new collective
agreement, and are back at work as of Friday, January 14..

Workers are on strike at
the Maisons de la famille in Prescott Russell as of 12:01 am, Wednesday,
November 17.
OPSEU calls on the Board of Directors of
Groupe Action to intervene and ensure that there is an immediate return to the
table, without preconditions.
The key issue at the table is the employer’s
demand to be able to move workers from one town to another on April 1st each
year, with no compensation. This imposition will erode continuity in services
provided to communities.

Join the picket line: Workers will be
picketing every day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tell the General Director, Yves Séguin, to
get back to the table and bargain a fair contract with members of OPSEU Local
